So now my headache has subsided, and it gives me a chance to write a little about the movie I saw tonight. Paranormal Activity 3. I had to wait a bit, because the movie takes serious advantage of SCS (shaky cam syndrome), and tends to give me migraines.
While I don't want to give away any spoilers for anyone interested in the series, I can say I was underwhelmed. The movie is full of the loud noises and cheap scares of the previous movies, and the plot is on par with them as well. While this may have sufficed for a cheap 30,000 movie made in 2008; by now its gotten old and frankly is not what I'm looking for.
My advice? If you are a fan, see it. It does bring up some interesting new plot elements (incredulous as they are); and could be entertaining in that context. However, if you are sensitive to headaches, or poor cinema concept, stay out the theater.
